CHRISTIAN FRANZ is a New York City-based beauty and lifestyle content creator, fashion model, and cardiology registered nurse, as seen in Harper’s BAZAAR Vietnam and NBC News New York.

As a nurse, Franz has worked in inpatient and ambulatory settings, including cardiothoracic surgery recovery, endovascular perioperative care, adult congenital heart disease, and COVID-19 intensive care units. Franz is also passionate about advancing public health, having worked with the New York State Department of Health to provide vaccinations to the community and with the United Nations to facilitate mobile viral testing for diplomats, thereby streamlining international travel clearance. He graduated Cum Laude with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and Minor in Theatre from Hunter College. He then completed a rigorous two-year postbaccalaureate program in science and mathematics at New York University. He has co-authored research articles with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Sorin Medical, as seen in Cardiovascular Revascularization Medicine and CVIR Endovascular.

Utilizing social media to disseminate health education and daily life content, Franz has garnered over 500,000 YouTube subscribers, accomplishing the Silver Creator Award. In response to the pandemic, he produced and hosted the Friends of Franz Podcast, which seeks to give a virtual platform to diversely specialized clinicians to combat medical misinformation across social media.
