CHRISTIAN FRANZ is a New York City-based lifestyle content creator and registered nurse who has worked in inpatient and ambulatory settings of cardiothoracic surgery recovery, endovascular peri-operative care, general cardiology, and COVID-19 intensive care units. He is the founder of the Nursing Department at Sorin Medical Ambulatory Endovascular Surgical Center. Christian Franz is also passionate about advancing public health, having worked with the New York State Department of Health to provide vaccinations to the community and with the United Nations through the mobile viral testing of diplomats for international travel clearance. He graduated Cum Laude with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and Minor in Theatre from Hunter College in 2019 and then completed a rigorous two-year science and mathematics postbaccalaureate program at New York University in 2022. He has co-authored research articles on endovascular medicine through the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Sorin Medical, as seen in Cardiovascular Revascularization Medicine and CVIR Endovascular.

Utilizing social media to disseminate health education and daily life content, Christian Franz has garnered almost 500,000 YouTube subscribers, accomplishing the Silver Creator Award. In response to the pandemic, he produced and hosted the Friends of Franz Podcast, which seeks to give a virtual platform to diversely-specialized clinicians to combat medical misinformation across social media. The podcast has been streamed in over 100 countries worldwide, seven continents, and rated in the Top 5% Most Globally Shared on Spotify in 2022.
